Today’s episode of At Home Diaries is our Something Borrowed episode. Every Thursday, I grab a book or two off of my shelf and read/discuss some of my favourite excerpts. Part motivational tool for the audience but moreso a motivational tool for myself. My New Year’s Resolution this year was not only to read more but to read the books on my shelves that I have yet to read.
Today we read from two books. The first was It’s Not How Good You Are, It’s How Good You Want To Be by Paul Arden and the second is The Devil’s Dictionary by Ambrose Bierce.

Questions to Ask Yourself
What are you doing that’s right and is it holding you back?
What are you doing that’s wrong in the right way?
Want to play a round of the Devil’s Dictionary game? Take any word from the English dictionary and redefine it in a way that both reveals and mocks its meaning. For example: I’ll take the word “Comedian”.
Comedian: A creature of conflict who makes people laugh at the worst of times and angry at the best.
Send us your words and let us know what you came up with!
